Plans
Every major written-test family, unlimited mocks, verified city requirements, Gap Lists, interview preparation, PHS guidance, fitness programs, medical readiness, and certification tracking.
Many test vendors charge per attempt, and single-test prep packs are often sold for a short access window. Semparo is one price for every test family, every retake, and every stage of the process, and the price on this page is the price. The core guides stay free forever.

Other ways to start Pro
Pro, month to month
$19/month
Full Pro access on a monthly plan. It renews each month until you cancel, and cancelling keeps the month you have paid for; your account, progress, and Readiness Score stay saved either way. A year of it runs $228, so the annual plan is the same everything for less.
Subscribe to one section
$12/month each
Only need the written test, the interview, the PHS, the fitness programs, or medical readiness? Take that one section by the month and cancel when you are done. Two sections cost more than monthly Pro, so past one section, Pro is the move.

What comprehensive actually means
Aptitude prep sites sell practice for the written test. The written test is one step of fourteen. Here is the whole process, and who covers what.

Free and cheap drilling resources exist, and some are decent at that one thing, but the gap is no longer about price: one Semparo section costs about what a single-test pack rents for, and Pro covers the whole process. Semparo is for the candidate who wants to get hired: the test, the interview, the paperwork, the fitness, and the plan, in one place, priced in Canadian dollars.
Only need one thing?
Each section is $12 a month and renews until you cancel, with the content growing the whole time. The arithmetic worth knowing: Pro at $149 a year works out to about what one section costs by the month, and covers all five.
All charges are in Canadian dollars.

More than half the calls are medical
The ECG Rhythm Lab (25 rhythms, a live simulated monitor, quiz mode) plus the 250-question medical bank and study guide. We train ECGs and assessment, not devices, so it holds on any monitor. For fire candidates and EMR, PCP, and ACP students.

Pass the physical
All ten 12-week programs, one for every major physical test plus a general Foundation program, at every equipment tier, with the swim and academy readiness guides.

Walk in ready to talk
The STAR story builder, panel-question coaching, and AI mock interviews that speak back and grade how you answer.

The Personal History Statement
The PHS is the exhaustive background document departments require before hire, and it sinks unprepared candidates. The workbook walks every section with the context a background investigator is actually looking for, so you disclose completely and confidently.

Coaching and reviews, delivered by people
Some things software cannot do for you. A resume review, a panel-style mock interview, and a Personal History Statement review are fulfilled personally by the Semparo team, people who have sat on both sides of the process. These are booked separately from the platform, and they are capacity-limited and never discounted.
Resume review $299, mock interview $349, PHS document review $299, each plus applicable taxes.

Pricing questions, answered
How much does Semparo cost?
The core is free forever: every city requirement guide, the full 14-step roadmap, and real sample questions. Semparo Pro is $149 per year, or $19 a month if you prefer month to month. Any single section (aptitude, interview, fitness, PHS, or medical) is $12 a month on its own. All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude tax; Applicable GST or HST is calculated from your province and added at checkout.
Is there a free trial?
The free plan is permanent and needs no card, and it is the honest way to evaluate us. For trying everything, monthly Pro at $19 is the mechanism: full access, cancel whenever you like, and cancelling keeps the month you paid for.
Do subscriptions renew automatically?
Yes, and that is the whole arrangement: a subscription is active until you cancel it, monthly plans by the month and the annual plan by the year. Cancel any time and your access runs to the end of what you have already paid for; nothing is deleted, and your account, progress, and Readiness Score stay saved on the free plan.
What happens if I cancel?
Your access runs to the end of the period you paid for, then your account, progress, and Readiness Score stay saved on the free plan. The tools lock until you subscribe again, and nothing is deleted.
Do you offer refunds?
There is no advertised money-back window on digital content: the $19 monthly plan exists precisely so nobody buys the annual plan sight unseen. Statutory rights always apply, and genuine billing problems are handled case by case at team@semparo.ca.
Are prices in Canadian dollars?
Yes, always. Every charge is in Canadian dollars, and the price on the pricing page is the price.
How does Semparo compare with aptitude prep sites?
It covers more of the process, and it usually costs less too. Aptitude sites sell practice for the written test, which is one step of fourteen, often for a short access window. The Aptitude section is $12 a month and covers every major test family with more depth: 3,350+ original questions, study lessons, and full timed mocks. Semparo Pro is $149 a year and adds everything the test sites stop at: verified requirements per department, your computed Gap List, the Interview Lab, the PHS workbook, test-specific fitness programs, and certification tracking with freshness alerts. The core guides stay free either way.
Is there any limit on practice volume?
Unlimited means no per-attempt charges and no expiring packs, ever. There is one honest guardrail: question delivery is paced at 150 questions per day, about two and a half hours at real test speed, because retention falls off well before that and spaced daily practice is what actually passes the test. The counter resets at midnight UTC, which lands in the evening across North American time zones, and members see their exact local reset time on the practice page. The pacing also protects the banks themselves: cramming, bulk-pulling, and copying our original questions is not studying, and unusual volume stands out in our delivery records early.
