ECG Rhythm Lab

Deep Medical Training

A live simulated patient monitor. Watch the ECG, pulse oximetry, and capnography sweep together in real time, pick any rhythm from the library and learn how to read it, or turn on quiz mode and identify rhythms until it is reflex. Over 55 percent of Calgary Fire's 92,200 calls in 2025 were critical medical: rhythm recognition is fireground work now, and it is the core skill of every EMR, PCP, and ACP course.

Vendor neutral on purpose: we train ECGs and medical assessment, not devices. What you learn here reads the same on whatever monitor or AED your service runs.

How to read it

  1. Rate: count the R waves. 60 to 100 is normal.
  2. Rhythm: R to R spacing is even and regular.
  3. P waves: one upright P before every QRS in lead II.
  4. Intervals: PR 120 to 200 ms, QRS under 120 ms.

Regular rate and rhythm at 60 to 100 bpm. Upright P wave in lead II. PR interval 120 to 200 ms. QRS under 120 ms. Normal axis.

Simulated waveforms for training only. Not a medical device and not for clinical use.
