Semparo. I prepare.
Semparo. From the Latin semper, meaning always, and paro, meaning I prepare. The always is built into the word, so you only ever have to say the rest: I prepare.
A crew can be always ready. A person can only prepare, and then prepare again. The recruit who came up short prepares better. The twenty-five-year medic who just ran a bad call prepares for the next one. Semparo is the steps and stages of that work, as an individual, as a squadmate, as a platoon, as a fire service.
Who builds this
Semparo is built by the team behind Delta Emergency Support Training, a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner in Calgary since 2013. The founder is a 20-year Advanced Care Paramedic, a Red Cross Instructor Trainer with a seat on the Red Cross Professional Responder Advisory Board, and a current Calgary Fire Department applicant who is walking the same process this platform maps.
That mix matters. The certification guidance comes from someone who teaches the courses. The process guidance comes from someone inside the process. Where Delta Emergency courses are recommended on this platform, that relationship is disclosed on the page, every time.
What we will not do
We are not affiliated with any fire department or testing vendor, and we never claim to be. We do not sell insider access, we do not coach anyone to game a polygraph or a personality inventory, and we never advise hiding anything in a background process. Complete, honest disclosure with fair context is the only strategy we teach, because it is the only one that works.
